Leona Fruge Papillion passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the age of 88. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 12:00 PM att St. Mathilda Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Mallet. At the request of the family visitation will begin on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Leona is survived by her son, Mark Papillion, three daughters; Deborah Espree and husband Daniel, Sandra Papillion and Wendie Papillion, four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Leona was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Fruge and Carrie Marie Ledet Fruge. Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
