Lelia Richard Thibodeaux passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015, at the age of 91. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015, at 9:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church of Eunice. Father Clinton Sensat will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

Lelia is survived by two sons, Calvin Thibodeaux and wife Gloria of Lafayette and Hillman Thibodeaux of Vatican; one daughter, Jamaine T. Brasseaux and husband Daniel; one brother, Arthur Richard and wife Norma of Lafayette; three sisters, Amy Doucet of Eunice, Bessie Dauget of Eunice, and Ruby Daigle of Richard; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; and seven great great-grandchildren.

Lelia was preceded in death by her parents, Constant Richard and Ovena Miller Richard; her husband, Reilman Thibodeaux; one daughter, Lora Lee Taylor; two sisters, Alice Menard and Odile Cormier; two brothers, Eurick Richard and Leo Richard; two grandsons, Quincy Thibodeaux and John Eric Brasseaux; one great grandchild, Darrien Thibodeaux.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2015, from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM by Deacon David Guillory. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 AM Sunday for visitation until time of service.
