Lee "Rusty" Arthur Malveaux, Jr.

Lee “Rusty” Arthur Malveaux, Jr. passed away on August 29, 2026, in an unexpected tragedy. He was born on April 3, 1980, and will be remembered as a quiet, humble, and meek man whose steady presence touched the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Rusty was a mechanic who was able to fix almost anything, a gift that spoke to both his skill and his patience. He was also a gifted artist who expressed himself through drawing and painting, and he loved skateboarding. He had a special love for dogs, especially his dog, Eve. Above all, one of the greatest joys and proudest accomplishments of his life was being a loving father and a devoted companion to Sheba for 26 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his lifetime companion, Sheba Williams, with whom he shared many years of love and life. He is also survived by his children, Lee D. Malveaux (Mary), Leon Williams, Malik Williams, Daquwan Williams (Breonna), Rushawn Williams, and Kaylee Williams. His memory will also live on in the heart of his grandchild, Serenity Bushnell.

Rusty is further survived by his father, Lee Arthur Malveaux, Sr.; his mother, Sylvia Zackery; and his sister, Melanie Malveaux (late Clifton "Danny" Jack). 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Nolan Zackery and Rosabell Shillow Zackery, and by his paternal grandparents, Herman Malveaux and Barbara Alfred Malveaux. Their memories remain a lasting part of the family’s story, and Rusty now rests among those who went before him.

Visitation will be held on September 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 121 S 6th St, Eunice, Louisiana 70535. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home, with Elder Paul Theriot officiating.

Lee “Rusty” Arthur Malveaux, Jr. will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his capable hands, his quiet creativity, and the love he gave to his family. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
