Lawrence Clyde Cart, Sr. passed away on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at the age of 79. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Jackie Cart of Basile; two daughters Yvonne Roy of Iowa and Tammy Boone of Basile; four sons, Lawrence Cart, Jr. of Eunice, Kenneth Cart of Eunice, Michael Hebert of Eunice, and Wesley Hebert of Mamou; three sisters, Velda Leckelt, Melba Darbonne of Basile, and Melva Darbonne of Basile; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Christine Rachel Cart and two grandchildren. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday April 16, 2014 at 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 7 p.m. that evening. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday for visitation at time of service.
