Larry James Gotreaux passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the age of 69. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 9:30 AM until 1:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice, LA, funeral services will immediately follow. Pastor Eric Griggs will officiate. Larry is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Brenda Sue Gotreaux. Larry also leaves behind his four children, Amy Gotreaux, Keela Bumm and husband Bill, Stacey Junot and husband Dustin, and Dustin Gotreaux and wife Korie; eight grandchildren, Adam Bumm and wife Brooke, Cora Bumm Thierry and husband Carl, Tyler Fleming and Maelynn Ebarb, Kaitlyn Bumm, Sydney and Grant Junot, and Khloe and Kenslie Gotreaux; three great grandchildren, Aubrey Bumm, Collyns Thierry, and Brylee McLin, all of Denham Springs, LA; and one sister, Ginger Huckaby of Nederland, TX. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and meeting with his friends for coffee on Saturdays. Larry never met a stranger. His hobbies included racing cars, gardening and raising chickens.

The family gives special thanks to Daniel and Peggy Gordan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Gotreaux and Theresa Fontenot Gotreaux of Eunice, LA.
