Kenneth Smith, Sr. passed away on Wednesday June 19, 2013 at the age of 83. Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 21, 2013 at 2p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Reverend Travis Turner will officiate. Burial will follow at Robert Prairie Cemetery in Jacksboro, TX. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Leola H. Smith of Eunice; two daughters, Connie Oliver and her husband Dwayne of Eunice and Darla Lomas and her husband John of Kinder; two sons, Jim Wayne Smith and his wife Liz of Eunice, and Bruce Smith and his wife Cheryl of Iowa Park, TX; two brothers, J.T. Smith of Eunice, and Leon Smith of Livonia; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Nellie Mae Strawhorn Smith; two sons, Billy Fralick and Kenneth Smith, Jr.; four sisters, Wanda Smith, Lou Thorpes, Lois Smith, and Ruby Smith; and one brother, Claude Smith. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday June 20, 2013 at 2p.m. to 10p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Friday at 8a.m for visitation until time of service.
