Kenneth Paul James passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the age of 61. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 11, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Keenan Brown Celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Augustine Mausoleum. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Basile, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by The Catholic Daughters. Visitation will resume at 6:00 AM on Monday until time of Services. Kenneth is survived by two sons, Trent James, Darren Miller; two daughters, Hailie LaBorde, Eden James; his mother, Haidie Miller James; two brothers, Gregory James (Shelly), Charles James; four sisters, Janell Ashford (Kenneth), Cindy Smith (Duane), Evelyn LeBleu (Gary), Madeline Battles (Kirk); six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Jake James; his father, Everett L. James; one sister, Cathy Fontenot; brother-in-law, Dalbert Fontenot.
