Karl "Wayne" Vidrine's Obituary
Karl “Wayne” Vidrine gained his heavenly wings at the age of 77 on Monday, July 5, 2021 after a battle with cancer. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Pastor Jamie Tyler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
Wayne enjoyed watching LSU Football and was an avid John Deere Collector. He owned his own mechanic shop in Lafayette. In his later years, he worked at ULL in the maintenance department. But most of all, Wayne enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
At the request of family, visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of Services on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home.
Wayne is survived by two sons, Mitchell Vidrine and wife Ida, Jason Vidrine; three daughters, Melissa “Missi” Keeton and husband Moe Alghubari, Bonita Nash and husband Dwight, Frances Domingue and husband Calvin; daughter-in-law, Pixie H. Vidrine; sixteen grandchildren, Austin, Peyton, Cameron, Lauren, Hutch, Brooke, Reid, Grace, Ashlynn, Taylor, Carter, Jordan, John, Jacob, Angelle, Meredith; nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Austin Vidrine, Cameron Vidrine, Calvin Domingue, John Banley, Jacob Banley and Matt Chalubiec.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Strange Vidrine; parents, Enoza and Lillian Guillory Vidrine and son, Chad Vidrine.
