Julie Caton Mentel passed away on Tuesday, July 03, 2018, at the age of 44.

Visitation will begin on Friday at 10:00 AM until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 12:00PM by Deacon David Guillory.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 06, 2018, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 1:00 PM. Fr. Clinton Sensat will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Jacqueline McMillan Caton of Opelousas; her husband, Glenn Mentel, Jr. of Eunice; two sons, Jude Michael Mentel and Gabriel Paul Mentel; one brother, Michael Scott Caton; three sisters, Deborah Caton, Terri Caton Bonovetz, and Angela Caton Kirkpatrick.

Julie was preceded in death by her father, Albert Caton.

Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the Mentel family requests donations be made in Julie's memory to Support Women's & Children's Child Life Department of which Julie was a member.
