Judith Keyes Copeland's Obituary
Judith Keyes Copeland passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the age of 92. No Services have been planned at this time.
Judith was an avid and prolific artist. She painted throughout her entire life. Her beautiful artwork graces the homes of all her children, grandchildren and many friends. She was also a plant and flower lover and her homes always reflected that passion. Our mother also possessed a beautiful singing voice. She belonged to the Bay Area Chorus in Houston, Texas for many years, touring Europe in the summer of 1980. A lifelong animal lover, Judith picked up any stray animal she came across, a trait she passed on to her children and grandchildren. Her home was always full of her beloved pets.
Judith is survived by three daughters, Melinda Penrose and husband Dave, Lori Heinen and husband Ferdie, Lisa Richard and husband Ken; step-son, David Allen Copeland; seven grandchildren, Sarah Daggett, Stuart Heinen, Everitt Harris, Dr. Gregory Richard, Callie LaFleur, James Copeland, Johathan Copeland; thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Copeland; her parents, Lyman and Mildred James Keyes; one brother, John Keyes.
