A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Eunice. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, 2020 from 8:00 AM until time of Rosary at 10:30 AM, also by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Joycelyn passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 at the age of 88. She is survived by two daughters, Robbie Brown and Loretta B. Guillory; three sons, Channon Brown, Daniel J. Brown and Louis B. Brown; one brother, Hilton Bergeron; five sisters, Anna Orr, Bonnie Lefrink, Bernice Hudson, Eunice Ann Leger and Mary Ann Broussard; Sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grand children and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J. Brown, Sr., a son Clarence "CJ" Brown, Jr.; four brothers, Jack, Warren, Nelson and Melvin Bergeron; four sisters, Yvonne Brown, Della Lee, Dolores Conque and Rose Rozas.
