Joyce Lavergne Soileau passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015, at the age of 72.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Roland Soileau of Eunice; one daughter, Sandra Whitaker of Eunice; one son Troy LeJeune of Eunice; two sisters, Jennifer Lavergne of Meridian, MS and Shirlene Abriga of Meridian, MS; two brothers, Rifton Lavergne of Eunice and Merlin Lavergne of Waveland, MS; two grandchildren, Stephanie Whitaker and Anna LeJeune; and one great-grandchild, Colton Granger.

Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband, Oster LeJeune; her parents, Hillman Lavergne and Hilda Doucet Lavergne; and one brother, Emery Lavergne.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will reopen on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. for visitation until the time of service.
