A funeral service for Joyce Lavergne, 83, will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at the First United Pentecostal Church at 1:00 PM. The funeral will be officiated by Reverands Ron LaCombe and Hunter LaCombe. Rev. MG Davis will assist. Burial will be held at St. Louis Cemetery. Joyce passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Joyce is survived by her sons, Rev. Kennon Geisendoff and his wife Carmen and Mark Charles and wife his Paula; two daughters, Tammy Dauzat and Brenda Montelaro and her husband Larry; two sisters, Patricia Davis and her husband Rev. MG Davis and Vernita Soileau. Grandchildren: Lance, Kim, Mandy, Paul, Justin, Nickie, Scotty, Jacob, Rachel, Marshall, Landon, Lacey, Kevin, Jr., Kaylon, Reggie and Larry; numerous great grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her children Danny Graffignino, Ricky Graffingnino, Darlene Rogers, Phyllis Mallett and Gail Guidry; her parents, Early Lavergne and Glade Darbonne; a sister, Elwanda Fontenot. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00 AM until service time.
