Joseph "Lash" Vernel Guillory passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the age of 82. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Clinton Sensat officiant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with a Rosary at 6:30 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 8:00 AM until time of Services. Joseph is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jean Davis Guillory; one son, Ricky Lynn Guillory and wife Suemi; three daughters, Janet Chatagnier and husband Keith; Deborah Brown, Sandy Rougeau and husband Mario; ten grandchildren, Mindy, Kris, Tiffany, Tyler, Johathan, Kimi, Craig, Doug, Kellie, Alyson; nineteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel J. and Alberta Sonnier Guillory; one brother, John Nolan Guillory; one sister, Wedna Doucet.
