Joseph "Donald" Sattler passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at the age of 83. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Cedric Sonnier and Father Sam Fontana Con-Celebrants. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 8:00 AM until 12:15 PM, at which time there will be a Rosary by Father Nick Ware, followed by dismissal for Services. "Donald" is survived by four daughters, Michele Stelly and husband Wayne, Paula "Pookie" Fuselier and husband Terry, Jessica Prevost and husband Mark, Anne Sattler; seven grandchildren, Lainey, Derek, Brett, Maggie, Kaitlin, Cameron, Alec; five great-grandchildren, Bella , Aiden, Ayda, Dawson and Harper. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Rider Sattler; his parents, Curry and Lydia Richard Sattler; five brothers, James "Buddy" Sattler, Lubert Sattler, Kelly Sattler, Richard Sattler, Phillip Sattler; two sisters, Lois "Totsie" Babineaux, Cecilia "Sis" Frey and one grandson, Jake LeDoux. Pallbearers will be Cameron Fontenot, Alec Prevost, Derek Fuselier, Brett Fuselier, Marcus Sattler and Kevin Babineaux.
