Joseph Godfrey Miller died on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at the age of 80.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Eunice. Msg. Robert Romero will officiate. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery in Eunice.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Beverly Mudd Miller of Eunice; three sons, Jon Miller and wife Anne Marie of Lake Charles, Joey Miller and wife Rachelle of Iota, and Michael Miller and wife Daniela of Eunice; three daughters, JoAnn M. Andrepont and husband Charles of Iota, Mary M. Fuselier and husband Ryan of Eunice, and Stephanie McCoy and husband Ryan of Eunice; three brothers, Dr. A.C. Miller of Eunice, R.H. Bobby Miller of Eunice, and Harris Miller of Colorado; two sisters, Theresa M. Seale of Eunice and Beverly M. Longman of Maurice; thirteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Alexandre C. Miller, Sr. and Ola Young Miller.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. by the Catholic Daughters.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Edmund High School.
