Joseph "Charles" David, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the age of 80. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 10:00 am at St Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Clinton Sensat officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Eunice with a Rosary at 6:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 8:00 AM until time of Services. Charles is survived by his wife, Ollie Richard David; one son, Blake David and wife Ronda; one daughter in law, Sandra David; three brothers, Joe Richard, Weston Richard, Wilbur Richard; one sister, Jeannie Humphries; six grandchildren, Brandi David Lovett and wife Laura Lovett, Jeffery David, Lacy Oliver and husband Steven, Jr.. Taylor Stelly, Kenny David, Sidney David; seven great-grandchildren, Steven III, Ethan, Talan, Andrew, Christopher, Izzy and Lillian. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph C David, Sr.; his mother, Willie Guidry Savoy; one son, Blaine David; one brother, John Robert RIchard; one sister, Catherine Guidry; one daughter in law, Veronica David and one great-grandson, Gavin David.
