Joseph "Joe" Charles Benoit, Jr. passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the age of 74. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Joe's grandson, Louis Roy, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from noon until 10:00 PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 and will resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of Services. "Joe" is survived by one son, Joseph "Joey" Benoit III (Betty Guillory); two daughters, Hope Roy (Robert), Casey Lynn Benoit (Aaron Guillory); step-children, Vicki Johnson (Brent), Judy Darby (Mike), Dean Guillory (Randy ); brother, Gerald Benoit (Rose); five sisters, Ruby Carrol; Jeanette Prejean (Darrell), Jeanell Johnson, Brenda Benoit (Donald), Wilma Bihm; four grandchildren, Robert Roy, Jr. (Nicole), Wesley Roy (Latasha), Louis Roy, Isabelle R. Guillory; five great-grandchildren, Dawson, Leah, Jolie, Desten, Augie; thirteen step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Benoit, Sr.; his mother, Gladys Cormier; the mother of his children, Rita Benoit; his companion, Lelia Roy;daughter, Samantha Marie Benoit; one brother, Darrell Benoit; four sisters, Linda Daigle, Wilda Bihm, Judy Benoit and Joann Johnson.
