Joseph Orage Chapman passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the age of 79. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 20, 2021at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Clinton Sensat officiating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas More Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 8:00 AM until time of Services at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with a Rosary at 10:00 AM by Deacon Wayne Chapman. Joe is survived by one son, Brian Chapman and wife Roxannne; five daughters, Cindy Fontenot and husband Craig, Angie Fontenot and husband Farrel, Jessica Frey, Mona Fruge, Shawn Greene and husband Mark; daughter in law, Sarah Chapman; three brothers, Deacon Wayne Chapman, Nelvin Chapman, Jr., Ricky Chapman; twenty-two grandchildren and thirty-nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Miller Chapman; his parents, Armide Fontenot Chapman and Nelvin Chapman, Sr.; one son, Joey Chapman; one son-in-law, Jeff Fruge; one brother, Donald Chapman.
