Reverend Hunter leaves behind a legacy of love and commitment that is second to none. He entered the world as a first born son in a pastor’s home where he received the name Jonathan Hunter LaCombe. His first name means “God has given”.
For everyone that knew and loved him, his legacy will live forever within their hearts and lives. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, Pastor and friend. He was a man who loved to laugh. His love and strength was a stronghold for all of his family. Hunter’s love for the outdoors carried over into his passion for hunting, camping, gardening, composting and tending to his rabbits. This love will always be treasured by those who knew and loved him so much.
He was a man of many talents and abilities. He carried such a vast array of knowledge in many areas which originated from his commitment to read and study. His greatest love of study was found in his desire to examine the depths of God’s word. Hunter will be missed by all who knew him.
God blessed him in his ministry where he spent years serving as Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, evangelizing and 4 years as Pastor of Eunice United Pentecostal Church, where he was able to minister and counsel with a true God given depth of wisdom.
Reverend Hunter was a man whose worship for his one true and living God was contagious and infectious. He lived to allow others to see the goodness, love and compassion of the God he so fearlessly loved.
