John Carl Shaw passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the age of 69. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with David Guillory officiating. Burial will follow in St. Thomas More Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Quirk & Son with a Rosary at 6:00 PM led by David Guillory. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Thursday until time of Services. John is survived by his wife, Linda Richard Shaw; two sons, Jonathan Shaw and wife Delores, Jamie Shaw and wife Megan; three daughters, Bridget Hall and husband Kevin, Tonya Myers, Julie Shaw; one sister, Janet Lay and husband Jimmy Morehouse; four grandchildren, Cody Hall and wife, Jessica, Brandon Shaw, Owen Shaw, Hudson Shaw; two great-grandchildren, Maddox Hall and Jameson Hall. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Maria Shaw; his parents, Robert and Lucy Young Shaw; one brother, Robert Shaw; five sisters, Edna Meyers, Rose Sigmon, Roberta Elam, Dorothy Auer and Jeanette Miller.
