John Hilton Roy, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the age of 78. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in Ashford Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home with a Rosary being prayed by Deacon Gary Gaudin at 7:00 PM and will resume on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 8:00 AM until time of Services. John is survived by his wife, Jane Bazinet Roy; one son, John Roy, Jr. and wife Mia; four daughters, Diana Patterson and husband Jon, Christine Ross and husband Lyle, Angela Fontenot, Darlene Roy; two sisters, Ethel Granger, Ruth Spell; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adely and Alice Ashford Roy; one brother, Ernest Roy; one sister, Clara Courville; one grandson, John Douglas Maybrier.
