John Woodard Perkins passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at the age of 77. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM at which time Deacon Chuck Ortego will pray the Rosary, followed by Services. John is survived by three sisters, Charlotte Hargroder and husband Chris, Evelyn Bundick and husband Steve, Nell Fontenot and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodard and Hazel LeJeune Perkins; brother-in-law, Stafford "Choppy" Fontenot. The family would like to extend gratitude and thankfulness to Oaklane Nursing Home, Hope Hospice and Dr. Reggie Segar for the loving care of our beloved brother.
