John Alvin Matte passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the age of 57. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jamie Tyler officiating. Cremation will follow. At the request of family, visitation will held the same day from 8:00 AM until time of Services. John is survived by his wife, Tonya S. Matte; one daughter, Hannah Shaw (Drew); his father and step-mother, Hubert J. Matte and Sandy Barbara Matte; brothers, Dallas Matte (Michelle), Keith Smith; three step-sons, Jordan Welch (Sarah), Frank Welch (Brittaney), Brandon Holden (Ashley); brother-in-law, Mitchel Baudoin; fourteen grandchildren, Rosie, Mikey, Ethan, Paisley, McKynlee, Winter, Gracie, Aubri, Scarlet, Landon, Noah, Colton, Addelyn and Clinton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Leger Thibodeaux and his sister, Sonia Baudoin.
