John Hilbert Leger, Sr. passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the age of 71. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice with Father Austin Leger officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with a Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM by Father Austin Leger. Visitation will resume on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 8:00 AM until time of Services. John is survived by his wife, Jeanette Thibodeaux Leger; one son, John Leger, Jr.; one daughter, Lisa Leger and boyfriend Robert Head; one brother, Nathan Leger; four grandchildren, Michael Hebert, Jr., Brette Hebert, Laci Leger, Hannah Matte; four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Leger and Agnes Picard Leger; One sister, Martha Leger.
