John Percy Fontenot, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at the age of 89.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice at 10 AM. Deacon David Guillory will officiate.

Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.

John is survived by one daughter, Margaret F. Leger and husband Ronnie of Eunice; one son John P. Fontenot, Jr. of Eunice; one brother, Clint Fontenot of Buna, TX; one granddaughter, Jennifer and husband Benjamin Miller of Eunice.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Jean M. Fontenot and Ezore Soileau Fontenot; his wife, Exilta Fontenot; one sister, Bernice Young.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 9 AM until the time of service at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
