John "David" Duplechain passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the age of 69. No Services have been planned at this time. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He had a passion for cooking and loved to share his culinary creations with family and friends. Known for his candidness, he was always quick to share what was on his mind, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. His infectious humor and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. "David" is survived by his wife, Sandy Chapman Duplechain; two sons, David "Tyler" Duplechain, Connor Duplechain; two daughters, Katie Duplechain, Hannah Duplechain (Stuart Osburn); his mother, Nettie Fontenot Duplechain; two brothers, Phillip Duplechain, Brent Duplechain (Natalie); sister, Debra Miller (Carl); nine grandchildren, John Patrick Fruge, Leah Fruge, Lucy Osburn, Lily Osburn, Ellie Osburn, Gracie Osburn, Carter Osburn, Brenley Duplechain, Adaline Duplechain; his father-in-law, Sherman Chapman and his beloved dog, Pemon. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Duplechain and his mother-in-law, Sherry Chapman.
