John Stevens Cormier passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the age of 69. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Quirk & Son with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Tuesday until time of Services. John is survived by one son, Steven Cormier and wife Becky; two daughters, Kelly Broussard and husband Richard, Kim Cormier; three step daughters, Sharon Lasseigne and husband Chris, Julia Reed and husband Alvin, Carmon Reynolds and husband Chris; eighteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Romain Cormier; an infant daughter; his parents, Joseph Rogers and Mary Lou Fuselier Cormier; one brother, Larry Cormier and one great-grandson, Jack Willis LaFleur.
