John Darrell Benoit passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the age of 70. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice. "Darrell" is survived by his wife, Ruby Richard Benoit; four sons, Robert Benoit and wife April, Kenneth Benoit, Raymond Benoit and wife Angela, John "Jr." Broussard and wife Patricia; four daughters, Roxanne Benoit, Michelle Benoit, Madeline Benoit, Katina Benoit; two brothers, Joe Benoit, Gerald Benoit; five sisters, Ruby Carroll, Wilma Bihm, Jeanette Prejean, Jeanell Johnon, Brenda Benoit,; five grandchildren, Joshua and partner Jacob, Hallie and companion Logan Thibodeaux, Kaleb, Ava, Liam; two great-grandchildren, Asher Lewis and Letty; two God-children, Joshua and Jennifer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. and Gladys Cormier Benoit; four sisters, Wilda Bihm, Judy Benoit, JoAnn Johnson, Linda Daigle; one great-grandchild, Artt Bradley.
