John "Kenneth" Andrus' Obituary
John “Kenneth” Andrus passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 at the age of 86. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Father Sam Fontana officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery
At the request of family, visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of Services on Monday.
“Kenneth” served in the United States Air Force from January 1955 until his honorable discharge in January 1959. While serving, he received the Good Conduct Medal. After leaving the USAF, he worked as a driller for Pool Drilling Company for many, many years.
“Kenneth” is survived by two sons, John David Andrus, Kelly Michael McKenzie; two daughters, Linda Chinn, Kathleen Gallegos; two special nieces, Sherald Lynn Ortego and husband Joel, Donna Fitzgerald and husband Carl; one sister, Judy Bourque and husband Ronald Thibodeaux; nephew, Keith Allen Bourque; two additional nieces, Kayla Bourque Bertrand, Marti Simon; eleven grandchildren, Joe, Chasity, Ryan, Chelsea, Holly, Kaley, Tina, Kimberly, Amber, Brian, Kevin and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Clara Andrus; his parents, Thomas Newton Andrus, Sr. and Clara Greene Andrus; two brothers, Thomas Andrus, Jr. and Joseph Calvin Andrus; two sisters-in -law, Burnella Andrus, Elma Andrus; one nephew, Kevin James Bourque; two nieces, Toni Louise Durio, Patti Ruth Andrus.
Pallbearers will be Ayden J. Courville, Joe Manuel, Jr., Ryan P. Manuel, Keith A. Bourque, Gabriel Bourque and Gavin Olivier.
