Joey Stansbury, 52, of Lawtell, died on Saturday, October 15, 2011. He is survived by his son, Stan J. Stansbury of Ludowici, GA; his daughter, Stacey S. Dehart and her husband Russell, Jr. of Bayou Dularge, LA; his mother, Betty Ledoux Stansbury of Lawtell,LA ; four brothers, John Stansbury of Youngsville, LA, Jack Stansbury of Prairie Rhonde, LA, Jimmy Stansbury of Morgan City, LA and Jay Stansbury of Ponchatoula, LA; five sisters, Jane Arceneaux of Irwinville, LA, Joanna Fontenot of Mamou, LA, Janet Barron of Lawtell, LA, Joyce Pitre of Lawtell, LA and Joan Burton of England, UK; two grandchildren, Braxton Anthony Dehart and Abigail Marie Dehart. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Stansbury and his brother, Jerry Stansbury. A memorial Service will be on Thursday, October, 20, 2011 at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prairie Rhonde. The address is: 365 Hwy. 104, Opelousas, LA 70570. Fr.
