A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Joewona Granger Smith, 57, on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial to follow at Reed Cemetery. Fr. David Hebert will officiate. A rosary will be prayed by Fr. David Hebert on Friday at 6:00 PM. Visitation will begin on Friday from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Basile. Joewona is survived by her husband, Terry Smith of Basile; a son , Travis Smith of Basile; step-son, Anthony Smith of Basile; step-daughter, Brandy Nicole Smith of Florida; . She was preceded in death by her parents, Letell and Lessie Duplechain Gaspard; sister, Gloria Landreneau.
