Joe Cole passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the age of 89. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Pine Prairie with Rev. Daniel Holsomback officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Cemetery in Pine Prairie. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at First Baptist of Pine Prairie and will resume at 8:00 AM on Thursday until time of Services. Joe is survived by two sons, Ricky Cole and wife Janet, Mike Cole and wife Denise; one brother, Otis Cole, Jr.; four grandchildren, Quinten Cole and wife Ashley, Ryan Cole and wife Meggi, Brittany LeBlanc and husband Clay, Emily McCants and husband Trey; thirteen great-grandchildren, Isabella, Alex, Knox, Lincoln, Harper, Olivia, Emmerson, Lennox, Reece, Grant, Emmitt, Maisyn and Adley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Lee Johnson Cole; one son, Dickie Cole; parents, Otis Cole, Sr. and Nettie Miley Cole; two brothers, Billy Ray Cole, Bobby Lee Cole; one sister, Betty Jean Johnson.
