Joann Matt Babineaux passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the age of 48. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St Augustine Catholic Church in Basile with Father Keenon Brown officiating. Burial will follow at St Augustine Cemetery in Basile. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Basile, with Deacon Gary Gaudin reciting a Rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 8:00 AM until time of Services Joann is survived by one son, Jacob Babineaux; two daughters, Josianne Babineaux and husband Dylan Alsip, Shailey Matt; one brother, Michael Matt; two sisters, Loretta LeJeune, Janice Matt. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph C Matt; her mother, Laura J LeBlue Matt; her husband, Ralph J Babineaux, Jr.
