Jerry Bertrand passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the age of 69. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Eunice. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pastor Tim Moffett will officiate. At the request of the family visitation will begin on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. And will be on Saturday August18, 2018 at 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Eunice. Jerry is survived by his wife, Sue T. Bertrand, of Eunice, one son, Kent Bertrand and wife Christine of Eunice, two daughters; Veronica B. Richardson of Ville Platte, Phyllis Vail and Thomas of Eunice, one brother, Frank Bertrand Jr. and Karen of Eunice, two sisters; Marilyn Dies and Darrell of Eunice, Priscilla Goldman and Eugene of Eunice, eight grandchildren and nine great grand children. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Bertrand Sr. and Maury Miller Bertrand. Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
