She is survived by her husband; John A. Guidry, Sr. of Basile, LA.

Mother: Jane Vige Duplechin, Eunice, LA. One Daughter: Sherry Guidry, Lauderdale, LA.

Three Sons: John A. Guidry, Jr. & Marlene, Basile, LA. Daniel Shane Guidry & Mary, Basile, LA Troy Guidry & Sonya, Basile, LA.

Two Sisters: Larria Marcantel, Duson, LA. Paula Leger, Eunice, LA.

Two Brothers: Michael Duplechin, Lafayette, LA. Jeffery "Bodine" Duplechin, Basile, LA.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice with a rosary @ 7:00 PM prayed by Deacon David Guillory. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 AM on Friday, September 9, for a visitation until the service. Funeral service will be at Quirk & Son Funeral Home, Eunice at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 9, 2011. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial to follow in Ashford Cemetery, Eunice, LA. Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 121 S. 6th. Street of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
