A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Fr. Cedric Sonnier will officiate. Jeanne passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Myers and her companion Patsy Aucoin; sons, Jimmie Myers and his wife Cheryl of Opelousas and Glyn Myers and his wife Ellen of Eunice; brother, Leonce Leger, Jr. of Opelousas; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Elton Myers; son, Mitchell Myers; brother, Elmo Leger; five sisters, Essie Burley, Vernice Darbonne, Virgie Paxton, Irene Latiolias and Roseman Pierce.
