Jeanie Guillory Daigle passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the age of 58. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at 10 AM at New Hope Fellowship Church. Pastor Woody Gunnles will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Eunice.

Jeanie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She had a great love and devotion to her family and church. Jeanie worked for the Eunice News for ten years in the advertising department.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her especially her husband, James Teddy Daigle of Eunice; one daughter, Kristie Buxton & fiancé Billy LaSage of Eunice; one step-daughter, Jessica Landry of Youngsville; five step-sons, Chad Singmaster of Eunice, Shane Bordelon of Pine Prairie, Shannon Bordelon of Eunice, Toby Bordelon of Kinder, and Donnie Shad Bordelon of Eunice; one brother, Michael Keith LeJeune & wife Regina of Mamou; five step-sisters, Sue Ortego of Eunice, Gail Fontenot of Ville Platte, Faye Sylvester of Grand Prairie, Charlene Kyeer of Fenton, and Christine Greene of Abbeville; one step-brother, Charlie Sylvester of Eunice; two grandchildren, Joseph Buxton of Eunice and Chelsea Buxton Burrell of Eunice; two great grandchildren, Clayton Johnson, Jr. and Joshua Paul Buxton; her dog, Molli Elizabeth Daigle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delius Guillory and Vernetta Bushnell Sylvester; her step-father, Allen Sylvester; an uncle, Weldon Bushnell; a god-child, Stevie Bellon; a best friend, Maxine Menard.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014, from 10 AM to 10 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM Saturday for visitation until time of service at New Hope Fellowship Church.
