Jeanette Marie Carrier passed away on Monday October 14, 2013 at the age of 73. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Father Dustin Dought will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Jeanette is survived by two daughters, Pamela Prather and her husband Verland of New Port, TN and Rebecca Valerio and her husband Manuel of El Paso, TX; four sons. Earlyn Carrier, Paul Carrier and his wife Elizabeth, John Carrier, and Billy Carrier, all of Eunice; seven grand children and eight great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elphage and Marie Bertrand Reed; her husband, Earlyn Carrier, Sr.; one sister, Irene Reed; and three brothers, Chester Reed, Milton Reed, and Patrich Reed. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Tuesday October 15, 2013 at 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed by Father Dustin Dought at 6 p.m. that evening. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
