Mr. Jean M. Matt, age 78, of Eunice, La., died Monday, June 1, 2009, at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou, La.

He is survived by his companion, Geraldine Guillory of Eunice, La. And a Host of Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by: Parents, Artelus & Melonie Dozart Matt; Brothers, Dula, Joseph, Huel Matt & Infant brother; Sister, Girlie Daigle.

Visitation is from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2009 with a rosary @ 7:30 PM. Reopen at 8:00 AM Wed. Funeral service will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2009 . Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice, La.
