James C. Morgan, Sr. passed away on Friday February 14, 2014 at the age of 92.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Eunice at 2 PM with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Father Dustin Dought will officiate. A Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM on Monday evening by Deacon Gary Gaudin.

James is survived by his wife, Eve Mire Morgan of Eunice; two daughters, Tammy M. DeRanger and Tina M. Bischoff and her husband Frederick "Socco", both of Eunice; one son, James C. Morgan, Jr. of Eunice; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. and Agnes Young Morgan; two sisters, Barbara Turner and Elsie Drexler; and three brothers, Grady Morgan, Herbert Morgan, and John Morgan.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Monday February 17, 2014 at 8 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday for visitation until time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
