James "Jimmy" Maxfield, Jr. passed away on Monday, January 08, 2018, at the age of 59.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at 11:00 AM at New Hope Fellowship Church in Eunice. Pastor Chris Frye will officiate.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa M. Maxfield of Basile; one son, Adam Maxfield of Basile; two step-sons, Justin Rosenberg of Lafayette and Connor Atchison of Point Blue; two daughters, Lacey M. Ray and husband Scotty of Basile and Sally M. Reed and husband Dexter of Basile; two brothers, Jonathan Maxfield of Eunice and Brian Maxfield and wife Veronica of Eunice; six grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James Maxfield, Sr. and Gwendolyn Courville Maxfield; one brother, Jeremy Maxfield.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will reopen on Thursday at 8:00 AM until time of service.
