A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 26, at 9 AM for James Manuel. Fr. Brian Taylor, pastor of St. Augustine Catholic Church, will celebrate the mass,. James will be intered at Liberty Cemetery. James is survived by his wife, Dwina Ann Bazinet Manuel of Basile, step son, Gilvan Aucoin of Pine Prairie; step-daughter, Rose Marie Richard of Walker; one sister, Mary M. Guidry of Lafayette; two brothers, Elbee Manuel of Chataignier and Henry Manuel of Houston, TX; 4 step-grandchildren; 8 step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albeia and Olena Langley Manuel.
