James Elvin Ardoin passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the age of 87. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in Pine Prairie. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM, at which time a Rosary will be prayed. Services will follow the Rosary. James is survived by one son, Brent Ardoin and wife Debbie; three daughters, Mona Fontenot and husband Darrell, Angie Duran and husband Ron, Cindy Chataignier and husband Mike; one sister, Jeanell Ardoin, ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Armand and Isabell Guillory Ardoin; one son, Dirk Ardoin; two brothers, Howard Ardoin, Floyd Ardoin; three sisters, Mavis Johnson, Wylene Ardoin and Loisey Guillory.
