J. Elward Guillory passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014, at the age of 90. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Elward is survived by his wife, Betty F. Guillory; two daughters, Donna Guillory of Eunice and Rhonda Abrams and husband Bryan of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, Daniel Ashford, Denise A. Little, Dustin Ashford, Mitchell Aucoin, and Tiffany Buuck; and seven great-grandchildren, Gavin, Bella, Mackenzie, Ainsley, Kamryn, Lexi, and Jace. Elward was preceded in death by his parents, Alza Guillory and Agnes McCauley Guillory; one sister, Winnie Mae G. Lafleur; and one grandson, Rusty Aucoin. At the request of the family, the funeral home will open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2014 for visitation until the time of Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. Quirk & Son Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements.
