Isora "Zoe" Bazinet passed away on Thursday July 18, 2013 at the age of 81. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 20, 2013 at 2 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Reverend Alvin Ogea will officiate. Burial will follow at Courville Cemetery. Isora is survived by four daughters, Charlene Benoit and husband Belford of Lafayette, Cheryl Turner of TN, Cynthia David and husband James of Sulphur, and Brenda Friesen and husband John of Eunice; two sons, Raymond Bazinet of Leonville and Phillip Bazinet of AL; one sister, Joyce Granger of Eunice; one brother, Charles Lavergne of Eunice; twenty-three grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexon and Louise Guidry Lavergne; her husband, Donnat L. Bazinet; two sons, L.J. Bazinet and Kenneth Bazinet; one grandson, Jade Friesen; one sister, Mary Babineaux; one brother, Nolton Lavergne. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday July 19, 2013 at 10 AM to 10 PM. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM on Saturday for visitation until time of services. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
