Irwin James Hebert passed away on Saturday January 25, 2014 at the age of 62. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday January 28, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Father Darren Eldridge will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Thomas More Cemetery. Irwin is survived by his wife, Mary Hebert of Eunice; three daughters, Tammie Hauptman and her husband Robert of Denham Springs, Tiffanie Hart and her husband James of Eunice, and Katie Hebert of Eunice; five grandchildren, Hannah Hauptman, Lillie Hauptman, Audie Hauptman, Sophie Hauptman, and Victoria Rose Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Virginia Fontenot Hebert. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Monday January 27, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed by the Knights of Columbus at 6 p.m. that evening. The funeral home will reopen on Tuesday at 8 a.m. for visitation until time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
