Mr. Hubert J. Blanchard, 78, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Prairie Manor Nursing Home. He is survived by his daughter, Charmine Robinson of Mamou; son, Eric Blanchard of Rayne; two sisters, Luther Benoit and Dale Read Obituary
He is with his sweetheart this Valentine Day. Will always remember "Doc" as a jolly person. Charmine and Eric you are in my prayers and have my deepest sympathy.

I was so sorry to read of Mr. Hubert's passing. I wish I had know earlier so I could have come to the funeral home and sercie. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with each of you. We have been friends since we were in school together in Basile. He was so kind and gentle and soft spoken. Later I found out he was related to my wife and Brother in law. Their names: Katleen and Darrell Ardoin originally from Mamou.
