Howard Lynn Virgen, age 74, of Lake Charles, LA, died Sunday, February 19, 2012, at his residence in Lake Charles, LA.

Four Daughters: Amy Hebert, Eunice, LA. Lacy Manceaux & Travis, Lake Charles, LA. Monica Shipps & Chester, Shawnee, KS. Tracy Smith & Mark, Ashland, WI.

One Son: Coby Virgen & Michelle, Eunice, LA.

One Sister: Carol Sue Lange, Littleton, CO.

One Brother: Harold Virgen, Columbia, MO.

13 Grand Children 5 Great-Grand Children

He is preceded in death by his: Parents: Clifford G. Virgen & Bonnie Cobb Virgen. Grand Daughter: Molly Hebert.

The family will receive friends at Quirk's in Eunice from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2012. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM by Fr. Cedric Sonnier. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 AM Wednesday for a visitation until the service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Eunice at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Fr. Cedric Sonnier will officiate. Internment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Tunas, MO. on Friday, February 24 @ 2:30 PM. Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 121 S. 6th. Street of Eunice is in charge of arrangements.
