Horace Fontenot passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at the age of 88. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 11:00 AM until time of Services. Horace is survived by two sons, Gary Fontenot and wife Celina, Steven Fontenot; one daughter, Linda Langley and husband Bubba; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Thibodeaux Fontenot; his parents, Dovic and Alma Smith Fontenot; one son, Bobby Fontenot; two brothers, Burkman Fontenot, Norris Fontenot; two sisters, Mary Lou Fontenot, Lucy Meaux. As per the Governor's mandate, masks are required and there is a 50 person capacity limit at this time.
